BrainBot uses a brainwave headset to literally read your mind, turning the internal process of mindfulness into objective measure. This technology-assisted mental practice makes training your brain easier and more efficient.

Track your mindfulness-- just like you log miles on the treadmill or reps at the gym-- and then improve it over time!

Why Mindfulness?

Did you know that simply paying attention to the present moment can improve your body's cardiovascular health, decrease your stress and strengthen your immune response?

Scientific studies show that this practice, called mindfulness, can also give you increased resilience to anxiety, depression, and even chronic pain, addiction and eating disorders.

Even if you are always healthy and happy, mindfulness practice helps you focus and goal-direct better, allowing you to train your attention and be more productive and less distracted.

Neuroscience of Mindfulness

Mindfulness changes your brain. Practicing mindfulness for 30 minutes a day for 8 weeks can physically thicken your gray matter in areas associated with emotional regulation and perspective taking.1

BrainBot's brain sensing technology builds on sixty years of neuroscience research on mindfulness, letting you track your brain's changes over time.

Our Story

BrainBot began as a journey through the Himalayan mountains to measure the brainwaves of meditating monks. In the summer of 2011, we won a grant from the non-profit healthcare incubator to help make mindfulness technology available to everyone.

Our crack team of neuroscientists and engineers all share a deep commitment to practicing mindfulness in our own lives. Our mission is to build tools that make your life and our own more peaceful through technology. More→
